ENHANCED PATROL PONCHO

When the unexpected downpour hits, the Enhanced Patrol Poncho fits comfortably over your head to provide 100% waterproof cover for you and your backpack. At less than 400g in weight, it’s a must-have piece of kit for any adventurer. With its generously cut smock design, it can even be used as an emergency bivvi if you need to spend an unexpected night under the stars!

Poncho aftercare

The waterproofing on the poncho is a PU coating so will not need any attention to keep it waterproof, but the outer surface is treated with DWR (durable water repellent) which causes the water to bead up and roll off. Once deactivated, it can lead to the fabric wetting out and looking like it is failing but this is just cosmetic. The DWR can be reapplied, and we would suggest something like Nikwax or Granger's products. These products are supplied with full instructions and are usually washed in or sprayed on the item. There is no hard and fast rule as to how often you would need to do this, just when you notice water stops beading up on the garment.

• Adjustable hood and thumb loops for a really snug, comfortable fit

• Easy access hook and loop chest map pocket with storm fold to keep your map dry

• 100% waterproof

• Supplied with stuff sack

• Durable

• One Size Fits All (see size chart)

PONCHO LINER

The Snugpak® Insulated Poncho is simply a useful piece of insulated kit that will come in handy when you need to warm up quickly and stay warm. The generously cut, smock design means it's perfect to use on its own as a blanket-style pullover, designed to give you all the warmth you need for everyday camping or on a dry, chilly night when you don't want the cold to spoil your view of the sunset!

And if there's a sudden downpour, team it with our Patrol Poncho to offer protection that's both warm and waterproof. The poncho is made out of Snugpak's exclusive, Micro Diamond Ripstop material, making it lightweight and water repellent.

• Can be used either by itself or as a blanket style pullover

• Antibacterial

• Incredibly lightweight and water-repellent

• Can be teamed up with Snugpak’s Enhanced Patrol Poncho to provide waterproof protection
